Mexican meetings with senior stakeholders

Following their recent visit to Panama, Canning House CEO Jeremy Browne and COO and Deputy CEO Ian Perrin travelled on to Mexico City.

With the country currently gearing up for a general election in early June, the trip offered an opportunity to meet with a wide variety of stakeholders at a moment of political interest.

Arriving on Thursday 25 April, Canning House’s representatives sat down for dinner at the British Ambassador’s Residence with a wide range of senior external stakeholders. Among the guests were Julian Ventura, former Mexican Ambassador to the UK and Deputy Secretary of Foreign Affairs of Mexico; Daniel Linkser from Canning House Corporate Member Control Risks; Beata Wojna, a professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey; and a variety of diplomats, and representatives of companies including BP, AstraZeneca and Eurasia.

The next morning, Jeremy and Ian met for breakfast with Carlos Ramirez, Verónica Baz and Ana Vásquez Colmenares from Integralia Consultores, a public affairs consultancy firm covering political risk, social impact, strategic communications and more.
