Canning House is saddened to hear of the passing of Giles Paxman, former British Ambassador to Mexico and Spain, and trustee of Canning House. Our thoughts and best wishes are with his family.
Giles served as Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Mexico from 2005 to 2009, and to Spain between 2009 and 2013, and managed Britain's relationships within Europe during postings in Rome, Paris, and Brussels.
He was a great friend to Canning House and will be remembered fondly by all those who knew him. Our thoughts and best wishes are with his family.
