  • Hermione Greenhalgh

Canning House is delighted to be supporting Shaping Horizons 2019, the first international summit and action programme on science, policy and innovation for a changing world, gathering 150 young leaders from across the UK and Latin America to engage with senior world leaders and ignite change.

Shaping Horizons 2019 is a summit and action programme that brings together top representatives and young leaders from policy, academia and industry from the UK and Latin America.

The summit will take place September 9-13, 2019 at the University of Cambridge. During this week, the leaders will discuss solutions to the most pressing bilateral challenges. The summit is a platform to produce evidence-based reports for governments and also to build geographical, disciplinary and generational bridges. In addition, young leaders will develop local scale projects that will be mentored by Cambridge experts and implemented after the summit in their cities.

Confirmed speakers at the summit include Prof. Dame Sally Davies, H.E. Carlos Sersale, Prof. Renato Ribeiro and many more.

Canning House is proud of supporting Shaping Horizons working towards our common goal of bridging the UK and Latin America.
