Canning House is going to Glasgow!

Canning House is delighted to announce that we will be present in Glasgow during the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26), with a programme of high-profile events to be presented both in-person and online.

While Latin America currently faces challenges relating to Covid, vaccines and health, and others in its politics and economics, we believe that its greatest source of long-term risk and opportunity is the environment. Latin America is the world's most biodiverse region. It is key to global climate and biodiversity agendas, and is itself vulnerable to climate impacts.

But Latin America is not just a victim - it also has a huge role to play in combatting climate change. Its resources, experience and expertise position the region as a potential world leader, given sufficient focus and international development resources.

This is why Canning House will be in Glasgow - to showcase what Latin America has to offer.

We will be holding a series of Canning Lectures with Latin American Presidents at the forefront of the region's climate change agenda.

Keep an eye on our Events section for forthcoming announcements.
