We’ll look in particular at the recent presidential elections in Panama and El Salvador, and what it means for Central American neighbourly relations.

The discussion will also touch on the historic decision by the US administration led by President Donald Trump to end the suspension of Title III of the Helms-Burton Act that allows US citizens to sue companies and subsidiaries in Cuba believed to be using properties expropriated after the Cuban Revolution. The first lawsuits were opened on 2 May when the activation took effect.
