This is a unique opportunity to learn directly from Nicaragua's leading tourism authority and other experts about the wealth of opportunities and potential for sustainable, ethical and responsible travel. Nicaragua is becoming an increasingly popular destination, from volunteers to retirees. The country is listed 8th in this year's World's Fastest Growing Tourism Destinations, and is a holder of LATA's Sustainable and Responsible Tourism Award.

We are delighted to welcome the following speakers: Her Excellency Ambassador Guisell Morales-Echevarry, Nicaraguan Ambassador to the UK, Julian Oliver, Programmes Director for Raleigh International, and Amber Dobrzensky, travel writer and journalist. Travel writer Russell Maddicks will moderate a discussion panel. A networking and drinks reception will follow the event.

This event, jointly hosted with the Embassy of Nicaragua, is by invitation only. If you would like to attend, please send expressions of interest to [email protected].

UPDATE: An earlier version stated that Nicaraguan Minister for Tourism Anasha Campbell Lewis would be speaking at this event. Minister Campbell's trip has been postponed due to the aftermath of Hurricane Nate.
