LATIN AMERICAN ACADEMIC FORM

The inaugural meeting of the Canning House Latin American Academic Forum will provide a venue for two or three short presentations and discussions of ongoing work concerning contemporary Latin American issues. The remit goes beyond political science, and the CH Latin American Academic Forum will also be open to contributions from anthropology, environmentalism, economics, history, international relations and sociology, etc. provided they deal with contemporary issues in a broadly accessible manner. The underlying objective is to promote networking and knowledge exchange, and thus strengthen the cohesion of British scholars whose research focuses on topics of region-wide significance.
