Canning Lecture: H.E. President Daniel Noboa Azín

Canning House is honoured to announce that the President of Ecuador, H.E. Daniel Noboa Azín, will be delivering the Canning Lecture. Established in 1997, the Canning Lecture series is traditionally delivered by a President or Head of Government from Latin America or the Iberian Peninsula. On this occasion, the Lecture will be delivered by Ecuador’s recently re-elected President.

Canning House is honoured to announce that the President of Ecuador, H.E. Daniel Noboa Azín, will be delivering the Canning Lecture.

The President, who has served since November 2023 and was recently re-elected, continues to lead efforts to strengthen public security and drive economic growth through investment.

In this Lecture, H.E. President Noboa Azín will outline his vision for Ecuador’s future and reflect on the country’s evolving relationship with the United Kingdom. He will also share his perspectives on key global developments and Ecuador’s approach to foreign policy.

With a background spanning both public service and business, H.E. President Noboa’s leadership has brought renewed international attention to Ecuador’s engagement in regional and international affairs.
