Latin America Integrating or Diverging
1st October 2014
1 Great George Street, London, SW1P 3AA
Registration from 8:45am
The Canning Conference aims to explore current trends and transformations in Latin America by analysing the economic, political and social changes taking place. This year sees the fourth edition of the annual event and will focus on the issues of regional political and economic integration and the impact of old and new trade blocs , in the context of an evolving external environment, on the future development of Latin America.
Canning House is delighted to welcome specialist speakers from across business, government, academia and international organisations to discuss these issues. This year’s key note speaker is Dr. Arturo Valenzuela, Georgetown Professor and former Assistant Secretary for Western Hemisphere Affairs in the US State Department.
