This is a recording from the Venezuelan Exodus event, organised with the All-Party Parliamentary Groups for Latin America and Venezuela .

Since 2015, at least 3 million Venezuelan people (around one in 12 of the population) have been forced to emigrate – driven by the pressures of Venezuela’s collapsing economy and deteriorating political conditions. It is the largest displacement of people in recent Latin American history.

Canning House spoke to Juan Andrés Mejía, Deputy to the Venezuelan National Assembly and Political Coordinator of Voluntad Popular, an opposition party, about possible solutions to end the crisis.
